East Coast Lumber carries a variety of quality products in our trim board inventory. Trim board not only solidifies the appearance of your home, it adds value to it. Options vary from traditional wood trim boards to one of many synthetic sidings.
Red CedarWestern Red Cedar Trim Boards
We carry Clear Vertical Grain (CVG grade) western red cedar trim boards graded as finish lumber. The CVG grade includes only pieces with heartwood on the exposed face. Many pieces come completely clear while others have minor imperfections, adding to the boards' uniqueness and beauty. Cowichan Gold Brand Western Red Cedar
This high quality exterior wood trim product is a throwback to the quality and craftsmanship of yesteryear. Cowichan Gold is manufactured from trees grown in the coastal regions of British Columbia which produce fine, tight grained logs. Cowichan Gold is manufactured by Terminal Forest Products, a company that has earned SFI and ISO certification for both forest management practices and environmental management systems. The products are produced at state-of-the-art sawmills which utilize the most sophisticated cutting and planing equipment. PineTiO2 Primed Exterior PineNothing compares to the warmth and beauty of painted real wood exterior trim. Boston Cedar has combined the world's finest raw material with a technologically superior primer coating to create TiO2 , the ideal choice for primed exterior trim products. TiO2 trim products are manufactured to out-last and out-perform other primed boards commonly used for exterior trim. Each TiO2 board receives one machine coat application of TitaniumPlus oil-based primer coating in Cape Cod Gray. The boards are then primed with a second coat of quality exterior latex primer, properly dried and packaged for shipment. This superior 2-coat primer system makes Boston Cedar's TiO2 the ideal choice for corner boards, fascia, soffit, rake boards and virtually any other exterior trim application. Available in 1x3 through 1x12, and 5/4 x 4 through 5/4 x 10, in 8' and 16' lengths. Bavarian Spruce:Bavarian Timberboard® 2 Coat
Edge glued Bavarian spruce is available in 10', 12' and 16' lengths. These boards, which are extremely straight and stable, have a sanded face for better coating adhesion. Bavarian trim boards have two full coats of PrimeTECH Titanium White Oil Primer and offer a 15-year warranty on their coating. Available in 1x4 through 1x12, these trim boards come with a 30-month warranty against delaminating.
PVC Trimboards:KOMA PVC Trimboards
Exposure to weather elements is wood trim's worst enemy. Moisture, changing temperatures, UV light, and insects attack exterior trim and cut short its useful life. KOMA Trimboards are different. Technology has created a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material that won't swell, rot, split, delaminate, cup or craze under harsh conditions, yet it's as workable as wood. You can nail, glue, drill, rout and cut KOMA Trimboards using common woodworking tools. Available in 1x3 through 1x12 in 18' lengths, and 5/4 x 4 through 5/4 x 8 in 20' lengths. We also carry 4x8 sheets of 1/2" and 3/4" thicknesses, as well as many other sizes.
